Chris Douglas was raised in Bell County, Kentucky.  He majored in Civil Engineering while at the University of Kentucky where he earned an undergraduate as well as a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

After college, Chris spent three years as a structural engineer with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet where he designed approximately 12 bridges located throughout the State.  During this time, Chris also had the good fortune of being selected as the engineer responsible for the design of an alluring pedestrian tunnel that serves concert goers at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center in Renfro Valley, Kentucky.  It was during this time that Chris developed the patience, determination, and skills to see daunting tasks to fruition.  This life lesson paid off tremendously while in law school where Chris’ work ethic earned him a spot on the Dean’s list for four semesters.
